Remote Customer Service Representative – Chat Support Specialist

Join our team as a Customer Service Representative and become an integral part of our customer service department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints, as well as assisting with order processing, troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues across various communication channels.

To excel in this position, it is essential to remain calm and composed, even when faced with frustrated customers. Your ability to empathize and provide effective solutions will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, experience with social media applications will be beneficial as you may be required to interact with customers through these platforms.

What you will be doing: Live chat customer support assistants handle incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses’ websites and social media accounts. These could be support questions from existing customers or sales questions from potential new customers.

Contract length: No fixed term

Rate: $25 – $25 per hour

Skills/background needed: Must have a device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop). Be able to work independently. Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions. Have 5+ hours availability per week. Reliable internet connection.

Hours per week: 10 – 40 hours a week

Location: Remote work online (United States preferred).
